Miranda Tseng Katter has a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. She is currently a Business Integration Manager at Caterpillar, Inc. building a team responsible for creating customer solutions for the new electric mining machines. This includes solutions to assist customers with jobsite impacts during this conversion to new technology, battery operations, environmental impacts and regulations while keeping in mind the customers’ total cost of ownership. Miranda work as a Civil Engineering consultant managing clients and design build projects both in the private and municipal sectors. She then transitioned to career at Caterpillar, Inc. with a focus on product support. Her experience in the construction industry has given her a very customer focused view while working at Caterpillar. She has lead teams both domestically and internationally in quality, parts marketing, parts pricing, application development, and technical support. She has also obtained her Professional Engineer License, 6 Sigma and Change Management certifications.
